# Import a Project

In the Projects Dashboard, click on Import a Project button and follow the instructions.

You can only import projects in **JSON** format. Any project files exported **prior** to Acorn  version 1.0.1-alpha are not importable in app versions 1.0.1-alpha and beyond.
